Patty Harris

Faculty

Patty Harris was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but moved to Salem, Arkansas during her elementary years. She has served in various roles over her 20+ years in classical education; first as a homeschooling mom. Mrs. Harris taught for 18 years at Covenant Classical Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, mostly in Kindergarten and 2nd-4th grades. Prior to CCA she and Mr. Harris founded a classical, Christian school in Osceola, Arkansas before God moved them to Louisville. She attended John Brown University, studying music.

Her greatest delight is seeing the eyes of understanding awaken in her students as she points them to the love of Christ and helps nurture their faith.

When not teaching, Mrs. Harris loves to cook in order to delight the hearts (and stomachs) of friends and family. She has also been involved in community theater in productions of “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Les Miserables,” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

She and her husband, Lance, have 5 children. They are also awaiting the birth of their 9th grandchild.
